Is there an age restriction for this event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is a 21+ event. A valid, physical, government-issued photo ID is required for entry (e.g. driver's license, passport, or military ID). Guests under 21 will be denied entry, and no refunds will be issued. Digital IDs are not accepted.

What time can I register for the event and enter?

VIP and VIP Table Admission starts at 8:00pm (Don't worry if your ticket says 9pm. We list the General Admission time by default on the ticket).  General Admission starts at 9:00pm onwards.

Where is registration located for the event?

Accepted Answer

There will be signs at the venue directing you to the registration area upon entrance, where we will scan your ticket and you will receive your event wristband.

Can I upgrade my tickets from GA to VIP or GA/VIP to a VIP Table?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can upgrade your ticket as long as it is still available. For instructions and availability, please email us.

Question 5

Can we register for other guests in our party and pick up their wristbands?

Accepted Answer

No, wristbands cannot be picked up on behalf of others even if you are the ticket buyer for all tickets. Each attendee must be physically present with their ID and have their own e-ticket (it’s acceptable if all e-tickets display the buyer’s name).

How many people can be at a reserved VIP table?

The capacity is strictly limited by the package you purchased (e.g. VIP Table for 4 is strictly for 4 people only).

What is the dress code for the evening?

The dress code is "dress to impress" or upscale/semi-formal attire. Jeans, athletic wear, sneakers, and casual clothing are not permitted. We recommend men in suits and women in cocktail dresses. Overall, we just want people to look nice.

Is there a coat check available?

Yes, a coat check will be available. There will be a minimum fee, typically around $5 per item.

Will there be available seating for us?

VIP Tickets include access to shared seating area in the Foyer.  Table Packages include reserved seating for the entire night.

Where do I find discounted hotels near the venue?

Please visit the hotel tab of the website: https://www.nye-chicago.com. We recommend booking your hotel as soon as possible. Hotel room rates will increase as we near the event.

Is there on-site parking available?

No, there is no on-site parking. There are public parking lots near the venue. We highly recommend using public transportation or ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) as street closures are common on NYE. Please note that parking is not included in your event ticket.

Can I go in and out of the event once I have my wristband?

Once you have your event wristband, you can go in/out.

Can we go to smoke after entering the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, once you have your event wristband, you can go in/out. Smoking area is outside the venue. Please step 15 feet away from the door. Must have your wristband on for re-entry.
