12/12 12:12 Ritual: 13 wishes for Yule with Lexi & Allison

Join WA Meadworks' resident witch, Lexi Martone, and Chapterhouse Boutique owner (and Salem, Massachusetts transplant) Allison Schmidt for a very special Freya Friday, inspired by the ancient practice of Rauhnächte, at Lindenhurst's local mead bar.

Come enjoy a handcrafted drink and cozy vibes (cocktails and mocktails available). At 10 pm participants will engage in some beginner-friendly crafting with intention. Learn how to make and charge your own magical sigil, which can be added to the vessel you will use for the ritual later.

Each participant will draft twelve wishes for themselves onto slips of paper, and at 12:12 am we will commence a group ritual, setting the action of the wishes into motion. All will leave with a small piece of ritual related work to do from home and a keepsake drawstring bag.

Rauhnächte typically begins on or around the winter solstice and is commonly referred to as the Season of the Epiphany or "the time between the years". This is a time when the spiritual and physical realms intertwine and magical intention is especially strong.
The practice of wishcasting at this time allows us to be in touch with our goals for the new year and actively participate in their manifestation while letting go of whatever no longer serves you.
