Explorers ages 5-7 years old can join us for this mini nature camp. This is a great way to prepare your camper for longer day adventures.

Drop-off


Families should check in their child, take them to the bathroom, and check that they have sun and bug repellant on them, and a full water bottle.

Gathering


Group gathers to review the day.

9:45 AM - 11:45 AM

Adventures


Group will begin the day's plan with hiking, art, books, games, and/or hands-on artifacts and animal interactions with snack in the middle.

11:45 AM - 12:00 PM

Gathering


Group will clean and pack their bags, then gather to talk about the day's successes, challenges, and what they are excited for next.

Pick-up


Children must be signed out by a preauthorized adult. Have IDs ready.

We will make a themed craft each day, read stories, play games and see live animals!


Dates: Tuesday, July 1-Thur, July 3

Ages: Children 5-7 years

Time: 9:00am- 12:00pm (This is a drop off program)

Registration Required: $50.00 per child; Eventbrite fees apply. Payment is Non-refundable.

Space is extremely limited.

Campers should bring water, snacks, sneakers. They will be outdoors in most weather.

Camp Instructors: Classes are taught by park staff and guest educators from other professional organizations.

The Pennypack Environmental Center resides on the land of the Lenape, and was originally dedicated as a bird sanctuary in 1958. Today, the Center has an outdoor amphitheater, exhibits, a reference library, and campfire and picnic areas.
