10AM Session: Holly Jolly Holiday Workshop (Grades K-5)
Overview
The Hannibal Arts Council is excited to announce its annual Holly Jolly Holiday Workshop, scheduled for Saturday, December 6. This festive event offers two session times for children in grades K through 5: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to create six unique holiday-themed projects.
This year’s workshop emphasizes the joy of giving, with projects designed to help kids create handmade gifts to share with family and friends. Featured crafts include a Beaded Snowflake Ornament, Holiday Countdown Calendar, Terracotta Pot Holiday Tree, Wire Star Ornaments, Pop-Up Tree Cards, and Marshmallow Snowmen.
The cost to participate is $10 per child, with scholarships available upon request. Due to the popularity of this event and limited project supplies, both paid and scholarship registrations are required. To register, please visit https://hannibalartscouncil.eventbrite.com, call the Hannibal Arts Council at 573-221-6545, or stop by the HAC office at 105 S. Main St. (Monday-Friday, Noon-5 p.m.).
This year’s Signature Sponsor is James O'Donnell Funeral Home, with additional support from the Riedel Foundation, the Community Foundation of West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri, and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency. Program scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of the Jesse David Cox Memorial Fund and HAC Program Scholarship Fund donors.
