About this event

Summer is a vibrant and abundant time to visit the farm! Fruits are ripening, garden rows are bursting, and life is buzzing across the ecosystem. It’s a beautiful moment to witness how our regenerative farming practices come to life in the warmth and energy of the summer sun.

Farm Tours take place every weekend of the summer, except Labor Day Weekend.

Apricot Lane Farms spans 234 acres total; during your tour, you'll stop by a few key spots, including:

  • The garden, a certified wildlife habitat growing a variety of vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers. See first hand how we cultivate biodiversity to bolster the immulonolgy of the land and help balance pests and disease while growing food.
  • Animals including cows, chickens, sheep, ducks, goats and guardian dogs all have a role on our farm and serve a special purpose—who you'll see depends on their dynamic grazing rhythm and current farm locations.
  • Farm Fertility Center to learn how we build healthy soil rich in beneficial microbes using worms, compost, and Biodynamic soil amendments.
  • Wildlife Ponds, the centerpiece of the farm’s native restoration and wildlife habitat efforts.
  • The Fruit Basket, the most biodiverse orchard where 60+ different fruit varieties are cultivated with cover crops and pollinator-friendly plants.
  • Alan York Lookout, to take in sweeping views of the farm.
  • A visit to Itty, Emma the pig’s great-granddaughter pig.
