FashionCamp Summer 2025 Edition - Learn Fashion Design (Ages10yo to 18y)

Instruction: FashionBar’s FashionCamp is hosted by CEO, Tony Long of FashionBar LLC who has Fashion Business and Consulting experience.

This FashionCamp is designed for middle school and high school students.

Workshop for Students 10-18YO
Times:
Morning 10AM 1PM (Age 10 to 14)
Afternoon: 2PM – 5PM (Age 15 to 18)

FashionCamp is scheduled for the following days:

• June 19th, 2025 - Morning: 10AM - 1PM or Afternoon: 2PM - 5PM
• June 20th, 2025 - Morning: 10AM - 1PM or Afternoon: 2PM - 5PM
• June 21st, 2025 - Afternoon: 2PM - 5PM

The final exam will be to execute a Fashion Show at Water Tower Place (Level 3) for family and friends scheduled for Saturday, June 21st, 2025 at 3pm.

Who is eligible to register?
Students who have an interest in Fashion Design. This amp will include a variety of courses that cover introductory to advanced fashion design and all the work involved in completing a collection and producing a fashion show for your family and friends. This Fashion Camp is for students ages 10yo to 18yo to help improve their creativity in the business of fashion and design. Fashion Camp will teach students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider’s perspective on how to prepare for a career in fashion design, fashion blogging, fashion marketing, and the overall fashion industry.

Students will learn the following introductory lessons in Fashion Design focused the below areas:

Day 1: Thursday

• Theory of Fashion Design & Development Workshop - Students will learn how garments are created from the first sketch to the final garment/product.

• How to Build a Fashion Brand Workshop - Students will learn the 4 P’s of marketing, Product, Price, Place and Promotion and how to start a fashion business.

Day 2: Friday

• Basics of Sewing Workshop - Students will learn the basic hand stitches, how to thread a sewing machine and practice on machines to get familiar with the functionality of construction.

Day 3: Saturday

• Photoshoot & Styling Workshop - Students will learn the concept of styling models, hair make-up and ensure lifestyle branding for a designer fashion brand. Students will be the model in their own photoshoot during this workshop.
• Fashion Show Execution - Students will be modeling in this runway show - open for family and friends to attend this mini fashion show.

About Fashion Camp:
Our summer fashion programs for middle school & high school students allow the students to work as a collaborative team, honing their creativity to ignite and grow their interest in fashion design.

Fashion Camp also includes a variety of hands-on creative projects with various workshops, developed for different skill levels.
