So . . . you want to publish a book. Maybe you have a draft written or in progress, or maybe you’ve been mulling over an idea for a few weeks, months, or even years. No matter where you are in your writing journey, this presentation and discussion will give you the information you need to get you started on your publishing journey.

About Nicole Frail

Nicole Frail has more than sixteen years of professional publishing experience, with twelve of those spent with a trade publisher based in New York City. She is now the owner of Nicole Frail Edits, LLC, an editing agency that performs various levels of editing for private clients ranging from imprints of big-five publishers to indie authors. She also launched Nicole Frail Books, LLC in late 2024, which is a small independent press that blends the values of traditional and indie publishing and is dedicated to bringing as many new voices to press as possible. She currently lives in Avoca, Pennsylvania, with her husband and three little boys.

  • Venue is The Makers Marketplace at 900.
  • Beverages and light snacks will be provided.
  • You do not need a completed manuscript to attend. You do not need to bring any samples of your writing with you to this session.
  • While intended audience is adult fiction and nonfiction writers, teens with an interest in creative writing or careers in publishing are welcome.
  • The store will be open during the session, so feel free to come early to shop all of the local offerings!
