Tennyson

While Tennyson has a quiet, small-town rhythm, there are plenty of events and things to do in the immediate area. Much of the social scene is centered in the adjoining village of Potosi, where the historic brewery serves as a community gathering place. Annual festivals and outdoor live music performances draw residents and visitors together, especially during warmer months.

• A popular local outing often begins with a meal at the Potosi Brewery, followed by live music in its spacious outdoor beer garden.
• Find larger community gatherings, from the annual Potosi Brewfest to craft fairs like Back Home for Christmas, at the Holiday Gardens Event Center.
• Catch a more casual vibe with food and occasional music at local spots like BrewTown Saloon or Twisted Vines Pub & Eatery in downtown Potosi.
