Lisle

While Lisle itself offers a quiet pace, there's no shortage of events and things to do in the greater Lisle, NY area, which often means a short trip to nearby Binghamton. The region's cultural energy is concentrated in Binghamton's downtown and West Side neighborhoods, home to theaters, galleries, and parks. The presence of Binghamton University also contributes a steady calendar of arts and cultural gatherings to the local scene.

• A typical evening out often flows through downtown Binghamton, with gallery hopping during the monthly Monthly Art Walk before a performance at a venue like the Broome County Forum Theatre.
• Annual festivals mark the calendar, from the LUMA Projection Arts Festival transforming downtown buildings to the Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally celebrating a regional food specialty.
• Live music can be found in a variety of settings, including country nights at Touch of Texas, intimate shows at McGirk's Irish Pub, and touring productions at the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts.
