Halesite

While Halesite itself offers a peaceful waterfront pace, the main hub for events and things to do in the Halesite, NY area is just next door in bustling Huntington Village. A typical outing often involves dinner at one of the village's many restaurants before heading to a show or exploring the local music scene. The walkable downtown core comes alive on weekends with a mix of art gallery visitors, families in Heckscher Park, and a lively late-night crowd.

• Plan an evening in walkable Huntington Village, where a meal can be followed by a national act at The Paramount or a more intimate set at Spotlight downstairs.
• Catch local bands during Live Music Weekends at Finley's of Greene Street or enjoy Jazz Sundays at the speakeasy-style restaurant, The Last Word.
• Experience community arts and culture with free events at Heckscher Park, home to The Heckscher Museum of Art and the annual Huntington Summer Arts Festival.
