Goshen

While Goshen itself has a quiet, small-town rhythm, there are plenty of events and things to do in the surrounding Lake Sunapee region. The area's social calendar is distinctly seasonal, with bustling summer activity along the waterfronts giving way to cozier winter gatherings. Cultural life often centers on historic venues like the Claremont Opera House, community hubs in Sunapee Harbor, and lively pubs in Newport.

• Explore the waterfront scene in Sunapee Harbor, where summer brings the Ben Mere Concert Series, a weekly farmers market, and various events at The Livery.
• Catch a performance at the Claremont Opera House, a regional hub for theatre, concerts, and comedy shows in a historic downtown setting.
• Experience large-scale seasonal traditions like the annual League of NH Craftsmen's Fair at Mount Sunapee Resort or Goshen's own Old Home Day celebration.
