Science Hill

While Science Hill is a quiet community, there's no shortage of events and things to do in the greater Somerset area. The region's cultural rhythm is defined by a series of annual festivals and a strong appreciation for classic cars. Much of the activity is centered around downtown Somerset, which serves as the social hub for Pulaski County.

• Downtown Somerset offers a walkable center for entertainment, where an evening might include a classic film at The Virginia Theater or trivia at The Makers Mill.
• The area is known as the "Car Cruise Capital of Kentucky" thanks to the Somernites Cruise, a massive classic car show held monthly from spring through autumn.
• Major annual music events like the Master Musicians Festival and Lake Cumberland Fest take place at venues such as the Somerset Community College Festival Field and General Burnside Island State Park.
