This rhythm creates a full slate of long-standing annual traditions that bring residents together.

• The town's social life revolves around its parks and beaches, with Kratz Field hosting large annual gatherings and the Lake Michigan shoreline providing a backdrop for holiday fireworks.
• Local organizations like the Woman's Club and the Historical Society of Ogden Dunes host annual events including an arts fair and a festive holiday tea.
• Outdoor recreation is a constant, with community clean-up days in the spring and fall taking advantage of the town's unique location on Lake Michigan.
