Organisateur de Wednesday Baking Club
Michelle Polzine has been cooking and baking in restaurants since 1991. She learned how to make pies, biscuits and bread in North Carolina, and followed her passion for seasonal baking to San Francisco, where there is always something good in season. She had a beautiful little time machine of a restaurant, 20th Century Cafe, which was focused on Central/Eastern European cake and pastry, and wrote a cookbook,Baking at the 20th Century Cafe, highlighting the baking of said restaurant. The restaurant is shut, but the book lingers on! Here she is now, hunkered down in her San Francisco apartment (since 2002) where she teaches online cooking and baking with the occasional guest appearance from Roscoe the cat.
