Black Market Comedy has been the Rogue Valley’s renegade power plant for stand-up for nearly two decades. Born from the ashes of Ashland’s breakout comedy scene in the early 2000s, we’ve spent 20 years proving that great comedy doesn’t just pass through Southern Oregon—it plants roots.Today, under the direction of Levi J. Anderson—an original founder of 2001’s The Smile Factory—Black Market Comedy produces live shows and independent comedy specials that put Southern Oregon on the comedy map.
