Description

The CTTL/Professional Development is pleased to announce the return of cross-cultural facilitator, Lee Mun Wah, for "What We Do Not See: Exploring What We Leave at the Door.” Back by popular demand, Lee Mun Wah will lead Skyline College employees in an exploration of the many ways implicit and explicit biases affect our relationships and sense of safety. Different from last year’s presentation, this seminar will include a Racial Identity Assessment as a way for participants to examine their own bias as a lead-in to exercises and critical dialogue about racial bias. Participants will also learn the importance of mindfully listening, noticing the impact we have on others, and learning to be curious, instead of being defensive, adversarial, or in denial.
