What are the NEW Models? 

Participants will learn the following models. They were developed by NLP Developer, Thom Shillaw and include: 



A “Psychological Framework” for understanding human motivation, planning, and tracking the effects of goal-directed communication.

TAROT patterns involve:

  • Movement Towards (T) Goal. 
  • Movement Away (A) from Problem. 
  • Range (R) of behavioural choices. 
  • Identifying Objections (O). 
  • Emotional Thresholds (T).

When was it developed?

During Licensed Advanced NLP Master Practitioner certification courses which were acredited by The Society of NLP, Dr. Richard Bandler, between 2011—2014. 

(NOTE: The NLP Present to Desired State, NLP SCORE Models, and so on, fit within the more expensive TAROT framework). 

FRAME patterns

The first purpose built goal-directed “Persuasive Appeal,” language model. Used to express the ideas of the TAROT.

FRAME patterns include:

  • Forward (F) in time. 
  • Reinforce (R) steps. 
  • Deal with Alternatives (A). 
  • Use Mischief (M) with problem populations. 
  • Imply worthwhile Effort (E).

When was it developed?

In 2014, inspired after modelling the late Joseph Campbell, a charismatic presenter who inspired thousands to “follow their bliss”.

The BYPASS Process

 A powerful negotiation model for rapidly dealing with objections and quickly reaching win-win scenarios.

BYPASS process includes:

  • Analyse limiting Belief (B). 
  • Establish reason(s) Why (Y). 
  • Obtain Proof (P). 
  • Secure Agreement (A). 
  • Progress to Solution (S). 
  • Strengthen (S).
