Fifteen years ago, Mitch Albom published his first novel, New York Times Best-Seller, The Five People You Meet in Heaven. The story of the grizzled veteran and amusement park maintenance man who, like Albom’s real-life Uncle Eddie (for whom the character is named), didn’t believe his life was special or meaningful. As Eddie learns his life—and his death—had important consequences for other people, so does the young girl he saved in his last moments.

On October 16th, the story continues with his first ever sequel, The Next Person You Meet in Heaven.
