Dust off that Gocco Printer you picked up with dreams of creating a vibrant collection of prints! Join us for an exciting workshop where Soapbox Riso Studio leaders Dre and Corey will guide you through the process of revitalizing your Print Gocco experience!
Say goodbye to discounted supplies woes and those pesky, toxic one-time-use flash bulbs! In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to create fresh stencils for your Gocco Printer using a thermal printer or fax machine and more!
By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with:
- Your own original Gocco printed postcard prints.
- A wealth of knowledge and confidence to continue using your Gocco Printer.
- Insight into the history and theories of Risograph and Stencil Duplication printing.
- A really fun and joyful experience with other Print Gocco enthusiasts!

Please note: Masking is now encouraged, but optional in the studio space. Individuals who feel uncomfortable using the space with others unmasked, whether for health or any other reason, are welcome to request mask wearing while they are using the studio space.
About the Instructors
Corey Bechelli draws comics and makes zines. For 20 years he's been printing and self publishing weirdo little books, and has displayed his work at zine fests, comic shows, flea markets, and art book fairs throughout the country.
Dre Grigoropol is an illustrator and multimedia artist. She is a graduate of Moore College of Art and Design. Dre has years of digital art teaching experience. She has a deep passion for arts and creativity, enjoys painting, is involved in numerous artist groups and is a board member at the Soapbox. For more go to Dretime.net
Cost
$40 for Current Members of the Soapbox/$45 for Non-Members
Students will also be charged a $15 materials fee that covers masters, ink, paper, and maintenance of equipment.
