Join us for a Tour and Eco-Hour with Cascade Designs!
NBIS Eco-Hours are networking events focused on connecting and promoting northwest leaders working at the intersection of business, innovation, sustainability and community.
Please join us at Cascade Designs for a tour of the Therm-a-Rest and Mountain Safety Research (MSR) manufacturing facilities. See where our legendary mattresses, camp furniture, stoves, and water filters are built and tested before they make their way onto store shelves worldwide. We will discuss our manufacturing processes and how “Made in America” supports the quality and sustainability of our products. Afterwards, we will hold a reception in our corporate showroom with light refreshments and beverages.
This event is held in partnership with the GoGreen Conference on March 30th. GoGreen is an annual sustainability learning experience for business and public sector decision-makers. Featuring regionally targeted content and recognized leaders from the community, GoGreen works across industry silos to foster peer-to-peer learning and collaborative solutions.
Meet Our Host: Cascade Designs
Founded in Seattle in 1972, Cascade Designs, Inc. began with the simple idea of providing a more comfortable night outdoors. Since then, we have grown to become the parent company of some of the most respected brands in the outdoor industry including Therm-A-Rest®, MSR®, Platypus®, Seal-Line®, PackTowl®, E -Case®, and Hummingbird®. Though much has changed with this growth, our recipe for achieving success has not. We strive to make innovative, useful, and long-lasting products and believe that manufacturing the majority of our gear in our Seattle, USA, and Cork, Ireland facilities is an essential element in creating quality outdoor products.
