We often hear myths about carbon capture—that it’s a pipe dream or, that it’s just about coal. So we decided to put these rumors to rest last year by mapping out all the carbon capture projects globally. And there are a lot. Our original map showed more than 100 projects that include everything from coal plants and industrial sources, to direct air capture and carbon use. With the recent package of major carbon capture legislation and more policy changes on the horizon, we figured it was time for an update.
