Learn to make the best cup of chai: one suited perfectly to your taste. In this interactive chai workshop, we will discuss:

1. the culinary philosophy and the spices of India, as a backdrop for understanding the masala chai

2. the fundamentals of tea and tea culture around the world

3. the ingredients of chai: water, spices, tea, milk, and sugar, and how to choose and prepare them

4. the origins of chai as the most popular drink in India

The workshop will be lead by the owner of The Chai Cart, Paawan Kothari, who has spent years cultivating her chai recipes. She will demonstrate how to prepare chai from scratch.

After the demo, you will taste 3 of our signature flavors, paired with Indian snacks (so bring an appetite!).

You will leave with a sample of our tea blends to experiment at home and discover your perfect cup!
