It is a great hotel for events or big groups. My brothers high school marching band stayed their for nationals and were very happy with the service. They were able to accommodate the group of about 230 well including having meals brought into banquet rooms for the kids to eat and have meetings in. Would definitely recommend!
Update: The google review caught their attention. Eventually, I received a refund. Stayed in this hotel as my flight was delayed. The airline provided hotel voucher. The lady at the counter told us that we will not be charged for the stay. Then later on, I figured out that they charged me for the hotel. Tried calling their accounts department numerous time. They are unresponsive.
It's a decent place. Staff is a little hurried, but it's reasonable. I've stayed here a couple times, and the experience is the same. It's decent. Not much in the way of extras, so, if you are staying for more than one night, might be worth looking elsewhere. But, for a decent room - it works out well.
I was only visiting family members that were shipping off to some exotic place, for vacation. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was a lounge and restaurant near the lobby, and a 24 hour little cafe that had snacks and coffee. The lobby was also providing some delicious looking lemonade, for free, which I thought was nice of them. While looking around the place I noticed banquet halls and meeting areas which would suit business or special events quite nicely. They offer to and from airport shuttles, and I believe my relatives said that they allowed you to leave your car there for 6 dollars a night, while away. The location was very close to the airport, nestled amongst other hotels cashing in on travelers. The staff seemed very pleasant, and informative, in my short visit. Definitely a place I'd like to stay if I was in need of it. And that's all I remember about war in Vietnam.
