Tons of dine-in options, tons of baked goods, gelato, great beer selection, tons of wine, lots of interesting fruits and veggies, an expansive selection of meats, coffees, cheeses, breads, this place is really a catch-all. Lots of parking in the underground lot and they have events here every so often up on the roof. Really, really cool place and a staple of Austin. I go here all the time just to walk around and have a brownie.

“RED OKRA, GOOD EATING ST EHOLE FOODS” There is a large food court in Whole Foods where you can chose from a variety of dishes, and to tell the truth, I'm always pleased with the variety of selections available there. Today however, my 7 year old granddaughter was with us, and we wanted to practice eating out, at a sit down place. This flagship store has several options, one is a fish place and the other is RED OKRA, which is where we ate. The salmon was great, preceded by a great

Great selection at this Whole Foods! They have a lot of items in the prepared food section so you have many choices if stopping in for a bite to eat. I also appreciate that they carry some local products from companies in Austin. Also different Paleo foods can be found here as well. Parking can get tough but that's to be expected for a downtown location. They have a garage though to accommodate a lot of cars, just plan your trip if you want to avoid the rush! They also hold events or classes here sometimes, such as free yoga on the roof. Check out their website or Facebook page for the current offerings and enjoy!

Heaven! What other word describes walking into this downtown Austin location! I've taken many a friend here when they visit and have never seen a disappointed face. I live about 2-3 blocks away and grocery shop about once a week. The set up is fantastic for any food (I have a preference for the pizza). They have a burr grinder in the coffee area that I love using when I buy coffee beans for espresso when I get home. The company makes a point to label foods for causes which I appreciate based on my personal beliefs...but to each their own on that. In the end, walking into the downtown Whole Foods is an experience all should try once. You might be drawn back for another visit :-)

Flagship Whole Foods, so it's always at the top of its game. Aside from the usually groceries, there's a great wine and beer bar in the back of the store. Grab a glass while your shopping. There's several restaurants within the store: BBQ, fresh fish, pasta--you can sit down and order from a menu. Our take away from the salad bar, the pizza station, or from the many other prepared foods areas. Plenty of parking.
