    Expected more from a W Hotel The chip on my credit card didn't work with their reader, so I thought no problem just type in the code. But they refused to manually enter a code! I'm standing in front of him, with proper ID, valid card with matching name etc. yet now I'm being treated like I'm committing CC fraud. Then I get to the rooms... the overall hotel is starting to look a little long in the tooth. But at least the bed was good. Still, I expected better for $350/night (attended large technology conference). UPDATE: After speaking with the manager and settling my account in full on my 2nd day - we also place a hold on my room so that there can be no additional charges. YET the hotel locks be out of my room the last night because somehow there is an additional $627+ charges they want settled...!!! Come to find out there were over $4,000 worth of holds placed on my card for a 3 night stay. Not ever again.

    Amazing Hotel and great location. The service is pretty good and the staff is very helpful. The hotel restaurant has a vibrant scene in the evening, but is a bit small. Definitely the location helps and close to many companies including Google SF office. There are a bunch of amazing restaurants nearby.

    Really fun, stylish, modern hotel in an easy accessible neighborhood. The rooms themselves were fun, if not as swanky as the lobby. Super clean and well taken care of. You can't really tell it's an older hotel. I think they do a great job keeping it up. Check in and check out were a breeze. I liked the attention to detail. They sent me a personalized note the first night and made sure I had everything I needed. Great stay and loving this brand.

    The hotel is fine but the administrative side of the W San Francisco is extremely inefficient. After providing my email many times, and speaking with multiple people over many days, I finally received a strange file format of my folio. The process began all over again to get a read-able file format. Seems like they dropped the ball on this. In addition, I had a package sent to the hotel and after three days of calling consistently to look for the package after it had already been delivered on my check-in day, I finally received my package, only to have to pay a 'package handling fee' upon check out.

    Nice large room with 2 beds and a great view of the city. Modern decor... Staff are focus on customer satisfaction. Everyone there is so helpful... Everything good expect from the W... As always, they set a high bar.
