Great local brewery. Good variety of brews. Mixed drinks and wine. I ordered the loaded nachos and did not like the barbacue sauce inside, which threw off a great appetizer. Pretty good service, once you can get a server or bar tender to help you.

terrible. took my credit card and lost it. All would have been fine if they would have admitted it. Ruined my night as I had to spend an hour trying to figure this out. My bank confirmed last transaction was at Vintage All bartenders lied and tried to blame me for this mishap There are many places to have beer and food. Choose another location to feel safe. Bartenders tried to intimidate me instead of correcting the wrong

Great beer, great food, great staff! The Vintage has finally succeeded where so many failed. Their beer is innovative and delicious, their food creative and also delicious. I just had a soft shelled crab, doused in tempura batter and fried, damn good! And their Max stout, Trepidation and Barrel Trepidation, outstanding!! Worth a visit! :)

I love this place. My coworkers and I have had get togethers here for all kinds of occasions over the years. It's a nice little bar. There are games here, various menu items, and there's music that you can pick out for the place. It's a great place for eating dinner or having a party. They have some of the best cheese curds and brews in Madison!

We live less than a mile from the Whitney Way restaurant, and it used to be our go-to spot for a quick and very good burger & salad. So I took it in stride recently when we stopped in with another couple, when I asked if we might be seated at one of the comfy booths and the hostess said she was sorry, but they were reserved for parties of 6. (There was a party of 2 seated in one of them.) What caught my attention was when another party of two was seated, right by our crowded table, ten minutes later. A couple of weeks later we made reservations at 11:30 in the AM, for dinner for six people. When we arrived, we were again shown to a noisy table beside the kitchen door, and when I asked about one of the vacant booths, the hostess went to ask and returned to explain that they were both reserved. A couple arrived soon after and was seated, by a different host, but the empty booth remained empty for the next hour until right before we were done, and was then given to...a party of 2! I complained to the house manager as we were leaving and he said those 2 booths were always left for walk-ins, were not reservable, and that there was NO reason we should have been declined either time. He was "sorry"-- no other explanation, no asking the hostesses for details. I explained that I considered myself a regular, and really don't appreciate being lied to. We haven't been back since and have found a friendlier and more accommodating restaurant.
