The kids love coming here. It's worth the hour drive from our home. Lots of nice shops and good places to eat.

People dont realize its a seperate owners from"historic smithville" the bridge separates the two. Both sides are great!! I love the shops, something there for everyone. Beautiful scenery. Spring time theres baby ducks everywhere!! Wine tastings at Tomasello Winery on both sides also!

They had a Renaissance Fair on the day we went. It was nice and the different characters walked around and spoke in the accent of renaissance, it was quaint. They also had music and singers. As always, it's nice to go into the shops. Oh, don't forget the bakery while you're there. Some shops are new. They have Italy and Ireland stores, kitchen items, jewelry, one that sells loose tea in wonderful flavors, souvenir, antiques, candy, candle, etc ... a great place for families. The also have Fred & Ethel's restaurant and bar, a small variety eatery and of course the famous Smithville Inn.

Had a fantastic time here. They have every kind of shop imaginable for tourists to look around in there are several restaurants there to eat. They also have Boardwalk type Pizza as well as funnel cake and ice cream. As you can tell, food is a big thing at this place. They also have kiddie rides for the kids. Specifically a train and a carousel. The only drawback is that parking at this place is very hard to obtain especially on the weekends and especially during the summer months
