Honestly, I'd rather not admit to how many of their amazing (thrice cooked) french fries I've crammed into my idiot face over the last couple of years. That being said... Great casual date spot. Good drinks and food.

If you were to take a gastropub in foggy London town and transp to the middle of Sunset Boulevard, The Pikey would be it. The look of the place is straight out of central casting. Amazing production design and ambiance. Only in LA is old world charm meticulously recreated. They deftly dovetailed the original tenants of the space, an Indian restaurant and the legendary Coach and Horses pub in this updated incarnation. Expect traditional pub favorites Sunday roast with out-of-the-box dishes like crispy pigs ear salad. Happy hour is a good introduction to the menu and drink offering here.

The food is hit and miss. I live around the corner and come in for lunch and dinner. Over cooked chicken. No seasoning. The burger falls apart. The food just looks better then it tastes. Great decor and music. Go for the drinks not the food.

This has been one of my favorite local spots since it opened several years ago. I think they offer amazing food at a fair price and the same with the alcohol and drinks menu. This place is also one of my favorites for breakfast/brunch. My only improvement suggestion would be to add a few more green or vegetable options on the menu. Occasionally I have to pass on Pikey because I have vegan/veg. friends and they don't see enough options. And yes, I know this is a Brit Pub style place. I just have to pass on my experience. That being said, I think this is one of the more solid spots in Hollywood.

Honestly, this place took me by surprise. I had passed by a number of times, and didn't really take notice. I assumed that it was your standard pub, serving standard pub food. I was wrong. It is so much more! The Pikey offers a menu with as much depth and charm as any "nicer" restaurant in the area. While it does have a flair for the UK-inspired, it offers a lot of plates for those looking for something other than just fish and chips (though theirs is great). The cocktails are well made, and the happy hour has some fun small plates. Brunch is solid too. This is my bar of choice when I am in Hollywood.
