This was our first visit and will be our last. We brought our kids for a fun day before their winter break ended. It started out fine as the kids enjoyed the water slide and wanted me to go down with them. I was told before taking my turn that I couldn't use the slide because of a couple of rivets I had on my swimsuit pockets. My son was next (who had already gone down the slide several times) and was told he couldn't go down either because of one small rivet he had on his pocket. I understand rules, but when the rules don't apply to everyone I have a problem with that. We watched as several others were allowed to slide that had rivets on their suits as well. One man was even told he could just sit up on the slide since the rivets were on the back of his suit up high. When we asked who I assume was the manager if we could tape the rivets, we were told no. We were offered a pair of scissors to cut the rivets off instead. Are you kidding me!? The staff is very unhelpful and unfriendly. Try doing a better job of training staff on what customer service means. Also, the wave pool was not running today which was unknown to us until after we paid. Why would you do this on a holiday?? I would not recommend this place.
Very clean facility. You don't have to be a resident to use the facility during open swim hours. I took my 6 year old and 3 yr old. The 3 year old did not do well during the wave pool, and the life jackets were too big for her. My only beef is that the wave pool happened too frequently, but kids would disagree.
My family and I love the pool, and outside water park, however they operate the craziest hours! Why would you close the outside water park at 5:00pm on a Sunday, the main day when family's are all together, and able to use the facilities; but during the week days it's open until 7:30pm! Having come from Texas, where the water parks closed at 9:00pm on the weekends, it came as quite a surprise.
