Went to the Improv for a New Years Eve show with my boyfriend. It featured Kevin Smith and Ralph Garmin for their Hollywood Babble On show. It was crowded before the show started because the show was sold out. Show was entertaining and staff were as attentive with a full house. Drinks are tasty but strong. Would definitely come again.
It's old school! That's a compliment ! It has that "old Hollywood " vibe of a history with stars and stars -in -the -making . The comedians featured run the gamut: from stage virgins to crusty old veterans, to real live A - listers! The stages offer easy viewing and the food served is a little pricey but surprisingly delicious. And after all , this is the Improv! Watch out if you don't use their valet ,though . Mostly metered and permit parking .
I showed up about 2 hours early for a comedy show after driving from the bay area. I didn't plan on eating but after seeing the food that was being brought out I had to! Excellent food, and much higher quality than you would expect for a bar. Highly recommend the brisket tacos and baked Mac and cheese!!
