The tour is interesting even if you aren't into whiskey. A little bit of science, a little bit of history, and a little bit of whiskey factoids. I've done the tour twice now and could go back a third time and still enjoy it. At the end of the 20-30 minute tour you get a flight of whiskey and whiskey mixed drinks which is essentially worth the price if the tour admission. A really neat experience for anyone who enjoys whiskey or the art of distillation or just an out of towner looking to kill an hour and get a buzz in the meantime. Also the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have about the product or the process.

Fun tour with a quality tasting for a good price. They showed their small distillation setup, barrel storage, and experimentation process. Then we sat at the bar and had drinks. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and could answer any question I tossed at him. They don't produce my favorite tasting whiskies, but I love the company and their goals so I like supporting them. I'd definitely come back.

Loved the $12 tasting ($13.11 with tax) of 3 neat whiskeys (about 1/2 ounce sample each) and 3 whiskey based cocktails (about 3 ounces of each). You can split tastings, though note that all are delicious, especially the cask strength Chattanooga 1816. There are other tastings available, some are all whiskey, and you can purchase full size servings of the ones you like. The ladies on staff today were fun and knowledgeable. Ended up taking home 2 x 375 mL bottles of 1816 whiskey, and looking forward to the new releases due later this year or early next. PS - new distillery digs on Riverfront are getting cranked up (though tasting visits may be limited to this location only)

This is an outstanding new distillery. Having just done the bourbon trail I thought I'd compare and make fun of Tennessee whiskey. Boy was I wrong! They have an experimental distillery in Chattanooga that's awesome. The staff is up to date on distilling and very knowledgeable. That's all fine, But their whiskey is as fine as any Kentucky bourbon. Smooth and fun

Informative tour & down to earth people who really take their craft seriously without being too serious. Did I forget the good whiskey? Can't wait for the all-Chattanooga mash to make it's debut. The tour makes a great beginning or ending to date night or friends night out. Just a word of caution, if you start your night there...EAT BEFORE YOU GO: Empty stomach + 90 proof whiskey and beyond = You go night-night.
