Great place to learn about the history of Black Culture. Currently undergoing renovations so a lot of the collection's not available on display but still worth visiting.

I love this place and visit it every time I'm in NY. Its library and reading room are public and it's a great place to indulge in some literature or simply read the news. Their bookshop is great.
