A clean, quiet, level site on a reservoir near I-15. I was surprised we heard no traffic noise at all. Staff was very helpful on two occasions: reminding a neighbor to turn off their generator during quiet hours, and directing us to Sand Hollow state park to dump our waste. A basic campground, but completely acceptable.

Lake is quiet clean. Camp grounds are easily accessible. Fishing is good. Only draw back not much shade. But If you love the sun it is great

This place is stunning and a great place to camp. Sites are spread out and amenities are nice! Quiet, clean, friendly staff, can’t go wrong. Camped for one night and wish we could stay longer.

I loved this state park. It was like your own personal beach no one goes down by the water so it's a perfect place to swim if you don't like swimming in crowded areas. I recommend wearing hiking shoes to go down to the water and there's a lot of rocks when you stand in the water there's no sand so I wish I had some type of water shoes because the rocks hurt when I would swim and my feet would hit the rock. Although the view is very nice and it's a huge body of water to swim. It was very hot when I went and a lot of bugs so wear lots of bug spray and suncreen.

Such a great place to go boating and swimming. I love Quail and it's my favorite lake around these parts. It has shade trees and is often not too crowded. The water is normally at a good temp. The beaches are a little rocky but not too bad and the good thing is there are a lot of crawdads under the rocks right near the shore. If you are in the mood to go fishing use worms and fish off the bottom. You should have some luck especially if you have a boat. Highly Recommend this lake, it's wonderful to be out anytime of the year.
