The Rock offers fantastic seating choices for NJ Devil's hockey games and concerts. It is near NJ Path and other rail systems making it easily accessible from NYC or Philadelphia. Food choices are A bit bland compared to the Barclay Center in Brooklyn. Outside of the arena choices are very limited compared to MSG or Barclay. Finally while the direct area for events is reasonably safe even the security staff warn not to wander off in certain directions.
I'm a seasoned traveler and avid sports fan. I've been to 28 states and dozens of major league stadiums. Never have I experienced slower entry lines than at Prudential Center. I arrived 45 minutes before the game. When I arrived at my seat the national anthem was being sung. This is the slowest entry into a sports venue I've ever experienced and I've been to a lot of them. Once inside the game experience was fine. I had a great time seeing the Devils play the Red Wings. But I just can't give this place a good review due to the horrid entry wait times. Plan ahead, go early. I hope this helps someone
