It's a pretty cool spot. It feels like a typical bar, although way more families than typical, and it has typical bar food from the greasy to less greasy things like wraps, but also a full sushi menu. I wanted to catch up with a friend who was visiting, and we accidentally ended up there on trivia night (Tuesday) so it was extremely loud, but it's nice that they have trivia night. The bathrooms were pretty clean. They staff seemed a bit overworked and surly at first, but at some point they seemed to relax and were much nicer. They didn't rush us out. We only tried various sushi items, and they were solid. We asked for no mayo on one item and they obliged. The mango in the mango roll was pretty unripe and unflavorful, but it wasn't terrible. There are lots of TVs showing lots of sportsing.
I've never met a more disgusting manager and owner. We went for a friend's birthday party, and wanted a table to sit all together. I went and asked for a table, his first reaction was "you should have made a reservation". So I responded with "your website says we can't make reservations". Then he went on to say that he has a policy that 15+ people, there's a $50 minimum per person. I said "Great, we're not15". He said "Oh, its 10+ people". To where I said "Okay we're 9". He then said "If you want a table, its a $50 minimum per person, I can make new rules, I'm the manager". I am so disgusted. The place itself is not that great regardless. The only benefit of the place is the good attitude of the bartender (who was working alone, on a busy Saturday night). Poorly managed, terrible attitude by the owner. I will never go back there. One star is too much to give.
