Wonderful, quaint, old-style theater. Multiple different shows every week. The actors are talented, the shows well done and the tickets don't break the bank. Great little off-Broadway spot in southern Manhattan!

Creaky, venerable space. Watch your footing, but it's an adorable little house with good sightlines and the front row VERY close to the stage. Its tattiness is part of the charm.

Players Theatre has great shows that don't break the bank. Nice service and amazing location.

A rude staff with unrealistic expectations for an audience of children. One female staff member actually hit me in the arm to express her displeasure that my 2 year old son was eating a slice of an apple in the theatre. Another staff member thought it would be appropriate to select me and my son to make an example of in the middle of the show, loudly threatening to "move us to the back" after my son whispered a question about the show. Plenty of other children had been louder, and after all they are children. We will never ever return, nor will our family. There are plenty of venues with more respect for their patrons and more reasonable expectations for young children.
