Rehearsal room was neat and organized. The guy at the front desk was curt and pretty unfriendly. He interrupted our session five minutes early to let us know that another band was waiting and we were following the clock in the room. Then he proceeded to begin organizing the room for the next group while we were still in the room. Not sure who was working Sunday, January 14th 2018 but if he doesn't like your face I guess steer clear. Or maybe just go to any of the other practice spaces that are not only easier to get to but also friendlier, and maybe even cheaper. Competition for practice spaces in NYC is far too aggressive to tolerate this kind of behavior from staff.

Best place I have found to rehearse in NYC.

Friendly, cheap, drum kit in drum room sounds nice.

I use the drum room regularly. It's perfect for practicing and reasonably priced. They even have performances in the evenings sometimes.

This studio is popular with musicians, has a great location on 46th st, but is the only studio in NY that tries to prevent you from bringing coffee into your studio.
