The staff is nice and I think they have great drink selections but the meat was a little salty and I didn't like the legim. It's usually my favorite dish at home or other Haitian restaurants but it was a little disappointing. Kabrit was really tasty but a little salty like I said and expensive. I like their macaroni and plantains. I also like the food presentation but I don't like that the entrees don't come already with rice to give an authentic Haitian experience. The restaurant looks nice though.. cozy, inviting, and romantic!
The food was delicious. The drinks were sneaky and the service was on point. I ordered the poisson Rose aka red snapper the black rice and a bartender drink special all were full of flavor. I will come again. I.also.ordered Tasso and.gave it to my Jamikkan friend who said and I quote " it is better than any Jamaican curry goat". Double thumbs up to the chefs. Yummy! Ambiance live music, Appetizers were spot on. Price fair for.food and service. Come early to sit and eat and or order early. Delicious food is worth they wait.
It took 45 mins to get a appetizer and 1hr 1/2 to get the food. Cooks are to relax and take to much time. I was a group of four so they prefer to serve us all the food at once which I understand, but of course the rice was completely cold, rice should never be cold. The waitress did not check on us the whole wait time up until we actually received the food. For basic Haitian food the meals are over priced. This place is a fail in my opinion.
