As a photographer, we are always so happy to hear when our brides have selected Newfields as their wedding and reception venue. The perfectly manicured gardens offer unlimited backdrops for beautiful and romantic wedding photography and the staff is wonderful and accommodating! -Danielle Harris Photography-

While the museum has a good collection, you may want to think twice before becoming a member. If, like most people, you work Monday to Friday, and are only able to visit on the weekends, you will have to face the real possibility that you will be unceremoniously kicked out hours before the Museum's published closing times because some tacky couple has a wedding planned which, apparently, will force the closure of ALL exhibits on a Saturday afternoon. I would personally be MORTIFIED knowing that my event forced out all the paying members of any institution, but while money can clearly buy you an ENTIRE art museum on a Saturday, it clearly can't buy you class.

Excellent encyclopedic collection situated on beautiful grounds. The beer garden is a nice summer addition. Its unfortunate the grounds are not as accessible as they once were, and there could stand to be more free evenings than are currently offered, but well worth a visit. The 100 acre sculpture park is always free.

The grounds are beautiful! There's always something to explore just around the next corner. The mixture of fun interactive art installations, lush landscaping, and the presence of local wildlife make this a really wonderful time. Remember your water bottle and sunscreen, and feel free to unplug and unwind.

This museum was wonderful. I came here with my girlfriend on a whim and was thoroughly impressed by the amount of work they had and how good the exhibits were. They had an excellent combination of paintings and physical exhibits. I enjoyed seeing the variety of famous artists and new exhibits on contemporary design as well as fantastic sculpture pieces and whatnot. The staff were very friendly and had great insight and recommendations for what to check out based on what we found interesting. I went in the middle of January so I was only able to explore the inside, so I can't wait to go back this summer to see what new pieces they've added and explore the art gardens and the sprawling grounds around their beautiful lake. I highly recommend a visit and it is well worth the admission of $18.
