Friendly and welcome atmosphere. Cannot wait to come back and start creating my projects.

Great place for anyone that's looking to create pretty much anything. Super friendly members and wonderful facilities.

I have been to the Makerspace for a few years now. It is a blessing; you don't have to spend a fortune to get the tools that you have here! They give classes on all the tools and equipment here. You have all walks of life here from retired engineers to the Lego-eccentric toddler! It's $50 a month and you can add family/ friends for $10! It's truly worth it

Most people are petty nice. There are a few departments where if you are not friends with the chairperson that runs it you have no chance. It ends up being a workshop for them and their friends and everyone else is second class. Talk, like many messages boards, it full of animals. Not very friendly to new users. Most people join for a few moths then leave. I ended up being one of them. Few classes for beginners. And if you want to teach a beginner class, and are qualified, but aren’t friends with the chairperson, it’s a no go. Wood working is pretty egalitarian, but it’s crowded. 3D fab (3D printers and the like) is only for the chosen ones. There are some really great and helpful people up there too. It’s the only place of its kind in the Area. Not really for the occasional user, you won’t get the time of day. I’m torn. - so 3 stars.

THE Best Makers Space! If you live in Dallas, you need to go here! I've lived in other big cities, and let me tell you, this maker space is light years beyond the others I've seen. It makes me sad that I moved, and no longer have access to the tools and people that I did at this place. They have every kind of tool you can imagine, no matter what your hobby is, wood working, metal working, jewelry, pottery, art, crafts, electronics, auto, they have it all! Plus there is a nice community of people there to network/problem solve with, and the facilities are well maintained and clean. They even have a kitchen with snacks and coffee etc for purchase when your working on long projects and need a break. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you want to create anything, go here. You'll be glad you did.
