I loved this place, I would have gone more often except it was in an industrial area and not that nice of a neighborhood. I got lost walking to the place and when I asked a woman for help she told me I was "in the wrong area for someone like you".

As a child free adult I sometime need a little extra help entertaining my friends kids, Art aka Carte made me feel comfortable and supported. it's like all of a sudden I am the cool friend and the kids ask to hang with me! Thanks to art ala carte all the creative kiddos in my world have a place to create with out me exposing myself as the crazy neat freak I am and I can afford to spoil all day long with the low prices. Thanks soo much, please never close.

Never got to have the experience because the directions took us to an empty lot... Wasted half an hour walking around for a building we could never find. Wonderful.

Both my toddler and my 5 year old loved it. The freedom encourages creativity and I don't have to worry about paint getting all over my walls. The girls enjoyed the free rein environment and I enjoyed the peace of mind. The owner was very sweet and helpful. We're definitely going back, although I wish it was a little closer to us (we're in the SW). Hopefully they'll open a new location!

I took my 5 year old here and it went okay. I think it is great that they want kids to feel FULLY free to use as much materials as they want for 9 bucks... not a bad deal. I think a problem for my 5 year old was the intense messy appearance. It was clear that they allow full free creativity - even in the cramped bathroom. But messiness aside, the young lady at the desk was super nice and helpful. The materials are VERY creative - definitely more items and more unique items than you would expect. My son did declare he would like to go back, so that definitely says something.
