This small intimate museum houses a collection of newspaper clippings, banners, flags, and memorabilia related to the Italian Americans of New Orleans including musicians Nick Larocca (1st jazz recording} and Louis Prima (long popular jazz trumpeter and singer known for voicing Ballou the bear in Disney's original "Jungle Book." You should expect to be the only visitors and thus will be treated to a private tour. Next door is the Piazza d'Italia, an outdoor monument built for a 20th century world exposition.
