There are many ways to promote your event. Public events are automatically listed in our search directory and major search engines. Consider creating discounted promotions to gain more interest. Then get the word out with email campaigns and social media ads.

<h2 id="01">— Set up your event for success</h2> <p>While <a href="" target="_blank">creating your event</a>, consider using the following tools:</p> <ul><li><a href="" target="_blank">Optimize your event for search</a> to make it easier for people to find your event.</li><li><a href="" target="_blank">Create early bird ticket types</a> to encourage attendees to register early.</li><li><a href="" target="_blank">Create group ticket types</a> that offer discounts when attendees buy more than one ticket.</li><li><a href="" target="_blank">Create and share promotional codes</a> that give exclusive offers. You can even make promo codes that <a href="" target="_blank">work across multiple events</a>.</li><li>If you are using flyers or other print advertisements, consider <a href="" target="_blank">creating a custom URL</a>. This makes it easier for attendees to get to your event listing.</li></ul> <h2 id="02">— Market your event with Eventbrite Boost.</h2> <p>Eventbrite Boost is where you can access tools for marketing with email and social media. To access Eventbrite Boost, go to <a href="" target="_blank">Manage my events</a> and select the Marketing icon from the left navigation menu. From there:</p> <ul><li><a href="" target="_blank">Create an email campaign</a> to let people know about your upcoming events. You&#39;ll also need to <a href="" target="_blank">create a subscriber list</a> by uploading your own contacts or adding attendees from previous events.</li><li><a href="" target="_blank">Add your event to Facebook</a> so attendees can register without leaving Facebook. This also makes it easier for attendees to share your event on Facebook.</li><li><a href="" target="_blank">Use social ads</a> to build your audience, create social media ads, and track performance. Social ads requires a paid subscription.</li></ul> <h2 id="03">— Advanced features</h2> <p>Go further with Eventbrite using these tools.</p> <ul><li><a href="" target="_blank">Tracking links</a> measure the success of individual links. Use them to track the effectiveness of specific promotions or affiliates.</li><li>If you have a website, <a href="" target="_blank">add a checkout to your website</a>.</li><li>If you use tracking pixels (like with Google Analytics or Facebook), you can <a href="" target="_blank">add your tracking pixels to your event</a> to measure activity and inform your advertising.</li><li>Visit the <a href="" target="_blank">App Marketplace</a> for more promotional tools.</li></ul>
