How to troubleshoot Eventbrite Card Reader issues

If you’re having trouble with the Eventbrite Card Reader, there are a few things we recommend trying. Force quit the app and clean out any dust or other materials from the power jack on your device and card reader. If you're still having trouble, you can also try deleting and reinstalling the app, and checking the device and card reader for rust.

TIP: The color of your card reader doesn't determine the type—30-pin or lightning (8-pin). Be sure to check the adapter and slot on your device for use to confirm compatibility. Slots and adapters for 30-pin card readers are larger, while those for lightning card readers are smaller. Also, the audio-jack reader is compatible with most, but not all, Android devices. Check this eblink{list=>https://cdn.evbstatic.com/s3-s3/static/images/en_US/neon_app/card_readers/eventbrite_card_reader_android.png target=_blank} to ensure your device is supported.
