If the subuser's email is already registered with an Eventbrite account, you'll see the following error: "______ email address is already registered with Eventbrite. Please use a different email address."
The quickest and easiest way to eblink{add that email address as a subuser=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3210} is to use a separate email that's not registered with Eventbrite.
TIP: If the subuser didn't realize they have an Eventbrite account or don't remember their password, they can eblink{reset their password=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3421} from eblink{here=>https://www.eventbrite.com/resetpassword}.
PRO TIP: If the person has a eblink{Gmail=>https://mail.google.com} account, they can use their same email address (and even receive attendee emails) by adding "+1" to the end of the username.
For example, if the email address is "tom@gmail.com," you could use "tom+1@gmail.com" as the email for the subuser account.
To use the same email address, the subuser will need to eblink{log in=>https://www.eventbrite.com/login} and eblink{close their Eventbrite account=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3259}.
From the eblink{Account Settings=>https://www.eventbrite.com/account} page, they'll go to "Account Settings" and select "Close Account." They'll be asked to provide a reason why they're closing the account (they can say something like "switching email addresses on account"), type in "CLOSE" (in all capital letters), and enter their password. The last step is to choose
"Close Account."
Once the account is closed, their email address will be free to eblink{add as a subuser=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3210}.
NOTE: If your subuser closes their existing Eventbrite account, they won't have access to any previous events they've created or orders they've registered for.
