Choose between three payment processing options: Eventbrite Payment Processing, PayPal, and Authorize.net (US & Canada only). Eventbrite Payment Processing is the default setting and gives you and your attendees the best experience with lower costs and easy online purchasing. Select 'Payment Options' under 'Payments & Tax' on your event dashboard to view or update your payment processor.

<h2 id="01">Eventbrite Payment Processing</h2> <p>Eventbrite Payment Processing is the easiest way to take payments online. Eventbrite Payment Processing supports most currencies. If you don&#39;t see your currency, you can eblink{use PayPal to process payments=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3461}.</p> <h2 id="02">PayPal</h2> <p>PayPal gives the option to set up online payments for countries and currencies where Eventbrite Payment Processing isn&#39;t available. Before you start, there are a couple of things to consider:<br><br>☑️ PayPal collects payment immediately after a purchase is completed, but it can take a few days for the funds to show in your bank account.<br><br>☑️ Eventbrite sends a monthly invoice to collect the Eventbrite service fees from the previous month’s ticket sales. If you passed the fees onto your attendees, they’re included in your payout from PayPal.<br> <br>☑️ The eblink{PayPal processing fee=&gt;https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees} varies by country and currency, and is subject to change at PayPal&#39;s discretion.<br><br>☑️ Accept checks or cash by setting up offline payment options in addition to online payment.</p> <h2 id="03">Authorize.net</h2> <p>Authorize.net is only available for events that take payments in U.S. dollars or Canadian dollars. Before you start, here are a couple of things to consider:<br><br>☑️Select the eblink{Professional or Premium package=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/organizations/package}. Then, eblink{contact Eventbrite Support=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/support/contact-us} to enable Authorize.net on your account.<br><br>☑️ You can use your existing Authorize.net merchant account.<br><br>☑️ Authorize.net charges you a payment processing fee based on gateway fees and applicable discount rates.<br><br>☑️ It can take a few days for the payouts to show in your bank account due to processing times.<br><br>☑️ Make sure that your Authorize.Net account is set to “Live” and test if it works before promoting your event. <br><br>☑️ Once Authorize.net is set up on your account, this will be the default payment processor for each of your events. If you&#39;d like to switch to another payment processor, select your preferred choice from the dropdown in &#39;Payment Options&#39; (under Payments &amp; Tax).<br><br>☑️ Eventbrite sends a monthly invoice to collect the Eventbrite service fees from the previous month’s ticket sales.
