What can a group manager do?

Group managers are a crucial part of running events with groups, and they do a variety of things behind-the-scenes to make events better for everyone. Group managers can join the group they manage (if they haven't done so already,) edit the team name, add a welcome message, or invite others to join their group. All this, and more, can be done directly on the Tickets page of the group manager's Eventbrite account!

TIP: Depending on the organizer's event settings, group managers may also be referred to as team captains, company managers, association managers, or organization managers.

Group managers can edit the name, password, preferred start time, description, and image for a group. They can also invite others to join the group, email current team members, and register themselves as well as other team members for the event.

TIP: If the group manager is registered for the event, they’ll have a gold badge next to their name. If you don’t see that, don’t worry—some group managers like to fly under the radar to coordinate a great group effort.
