Here's how you do it:
If you have a Google Adwords account and want to track activity on Eventbrite, create a conversion action for Eventbrite. Then add an Adwords pixel to your event. You'll need your conversion ID and label.
<h2 id="01">1. Get your conversion ID and label.</h2> <p>To add your Adwords pixel to your event, you'll need:</p> <ul><li><b>Conversion ID</b>: 9-digit number with no dashes, letters, or special character</li><li><b>Conversion label</b>: Alphanumeric string, can include special characters</li></ul> <p>To get your conversion ID and label:</p> <ol><li><a href="https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6095821" target="_blank">Create a website conversion</a>.</li><li>Go to <b>Set up the tag</b>.</li><li>Select <b>Use Google Tag Manager</b>.</li><li>Locate the conversion ID and label.</li></ol> <p>Eventbrite is unable to assist with this step. Refer to the <a href="https://support.google.com/google-ads" target="_blank">Google Ads Help</a> if you have questions about setting up your conversion action.</p> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">NOTE: You can't use Google Tag Manager on Eventbrite. You'll only need the conversion ID and label.</p> <h2 id="02">2. Go to your Event Dashboard.</h2> <p>In Eventbrite, go to <b>Manage my events</b> in your account. Then select your event.</p> <h2 id="03">3. Go to "Tracking pixels" (under "Marketing").</h2> <h2 id="04">4.Click "Add new pixel" (under "Google Adwords")</h2> <h2 id="05">5. Enter your conversion ID.</h2> <h2 id="06">6. Click "Add conversion event" and set up your event.</h2> <p>First choose when you want your pixel to fire:</p> <ul><li><b>Event listing</b> — when attendees visit your event page</li><li><b>Event register</b> —when attendees view the order form</li><li><b>Event order confirmation</b> — when attendees complete a purchase</li><li><b>Reserved seating pick a seat</b> — when attendees choose a seat for a reserved seating event</li></ul> <p>Then, enter your conversion label.</p> <h2 id="07">7. Save your changes.</h2> <h2 id="08">8. Confirm your pixel is firing.</h2> <p>To test your pixel, install the <a href="https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tag-assistant-by-google/kejbdjndbnbjgmefkgdddjlbokphdefk" target="_blank">Tag Assistant</a> in your browser.
