How to update and edit your order information

Depending on the event settings, you can update or edit the information on your order — like name, email address, or answers to the organizer's questions. eblink{Log into your Eventbrite account=>} and click on your order. Then click the "Edit" link (on the right) to get started. If you don't see an "Edit" link, the event organizer has disabled the ability to change order information. If you still need to edit your order information, look to the left and click "Contact the Organizer" to eblink{send them a message=>}.

PRO TIP: If you're the event organizer or multi-user (subuser) for an event, you can eblink{edit attendee information=>} by clicking Orders on the Manage page.

NOTE: If you completed the registration and entered information for more than one attendee (name and email address), seeing the "Edit" link means you can edit that information as well. If your changes affect all tickets on the order (e.g., the same name appears on all tickets), the organizer's event settings are set to only accept changes to the entire order. Individual tickets can’t be changed.

1. Go to Tickets.

eblink{Log into your Eventbrite account=> target=_blank} and select Tickets in the Account Menu (top right).

TIP: Not sure if you have an account with Eventbrite? eblink{Enter your email=>} and we'll confirm by surfacing a "Password" field to log in. If we don’t recognize the email address, you’ll see the option to "Sign up for free".

PRO TIP: If you entered a typo in your email, you can log in with the typo'd email address and password to eblink{change the email address on your Eventbrite account=>}. Don't stop there — changing the email on the order is also important because any correspondence sent by the organizer will go to that email address.

NOTE: If you purchased tickets from a third-party seller and not through the event listing, you won't be able to log in and update the information on the original order. eblink{Learn more=>}.

2. Select your order.

Locate your order (under “Tickets”) and click the name of the event to display the information entered on the order form.

TIP: To view Past Events, Groups and Fundraising, Likes and Follows scroll down under your “Tickets”.

3. Select "Edit".

To update or edit your order information, click "Edit" (on the right). A couple of things to note: • You can't change the number of tickets ordered, billing address, or credit card/payment type used. • We recommend selecting the "Send confirmation email to new attendee" box if you change the email address on your order. • If you don't see an "Edit" link, the event organizer disabled the ability to change order information. Click “eblink{Contact the Organizer=>}” (on the left) to request they update the information on your behalf.

TIP: If the event offers the ability to eblink{join a team or group=>}, you can easily join a team by clicking "Join a Team" or "Transfer". Also, some organizers enable registration transfers for their events. If so, you might be able to eblink{upgrade to a different event or ticket=>}.

PRO TIP: A Print Tickets button shows if the organizer enabled PDF tickets for their event, and a Print Invoice button shows if the organizer charged tax and issued tax invoices to attendees. If neither button shows, tickets and tax invoices were disabled by the event organizer.

NOTE: A eblink{Refund Request=>} button shows if the organizer accepts refund requests, and a eblink{Cancel Order=>} button shows if the registration was free. If neither button shows, use the eblink{Contact the Organizer=>} button to request more information from the event organizer.

4. Save your changes.

Click "Save" to save your changes.

TIP: Not all organizers require the name on the ticket to match the name of the person attending the event. Check your order confirmation email, review the event details on the page where you registered (or the organizer’s website), and eblink{reach out the event organizer=>} to answer any questions about the event.

PRO TIP: Your order will always be associated with the email address you entered during registration. If you entered a typo, changing the email address on your ticket will not make it show in the Eventbrite App (eblink{iOS=>} and eblink{Android=>}). For the ticket to show in the Eventbrite app, you’ll need to eblink{change the email address =>} on the account to an email that is not already associated with Eventbrite.
