How to set up event payout details

To make sure you get paid for your ticket sales, it's crucial to enter your payout details. You can be paid by direct deposit, check (USD only), eblink{PayPal=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3461}, or eblink{Authorize.Net=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3457}. When using Eventbrite Payment Processing to collect payments, your payout will start processing 4-5 days after the event ends. To get started, just head over to your event's Manage page and select Set Payment Options.

NOTE: You may be asked to fill out additional information that you haven’t had to provide before. Providing all of these details helps ensure your payments are delivered on an accurate and timely basis and we meet the requirements of our payment processing partners.

1. Go to your Event Dashboard.

TIP: You can change your event's payment processor any time before your first sale.

NOTE: Some features – like eblink{Reserved Seating=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3212} and eblink{Registration Transfers=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3454} – are only available with Eventbrite Payment Processing. eblink{See a full list of features exclusive to Eventbrite Payment Processing=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=24220}.

You have four options for how to get paid: • Direct deposit (the fastest) • Check mailed to you (we just need your physical mailing address — sorry, no P.O. boxes can be accepted for security reasons) • PayPal (only for events eblink{using PayPal as the payment processor=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3461}, which requires paying Eventbrite service fees separately when we eblink{invoice=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4213} you) • Authorize.Net (only for events eblink{using Authorize.Net as the payment processor=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3457}, which requires paying Eventbrite service fees separately when we eblink{invoice=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4213} you) We can deposit funds directly into an individual or company account if you provide this information: • Name on the account • Physical address (sorry, no P.O. boxes can be accepted for security reasons) • Bank account type • Bank name • Routing number • Account number • eblink{IBAN=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=16159} and BIC numbers for events in non-USD/CAD currencies ​Please enter all of this information carefully to avoid any delays on your payout.

TIP: eblink{IBAN=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=16159} and BIC fields are required when displayed.

PRO TIP: You have the option of giving your bank account a nickname. This is especially useful if you use multiple bank accounts and want to easily keep track of them.

NOTE: Payout details are entered on a per-event basis and there isn't a way to apply your payout details account-wide to each event created under your Eventbrite account.

5. Optional: Select your payout method.

If you've added multiple payout methods (based on other events you've created and hosted) or are changing your payout method, you'll need to select the payout method from the list before saving.

6. Save to finish.

Click Save. When we have everything we need, you'll see the Payment Options button change on your Event Dashboard.

When we have everything we need, you'll see the Payment Options button change on your Event Dashboard. eblink{Payouts start processing=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4374 target=_blank} 4-5 business days after an event ends, and can take up to 5 bank days to show up in U.S. accounts (up to 7 days for non-U.S. accounts.)

EXAMPLE: While many banks are able to accept the USD currency, we can only issue a direct deposit payout in USD to a US bank.

TIP: You'll be paid in the eblink{currency=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3452} you used to collect payment from your attendees, and your bank must be located in the country/region supporting the currency in order for your funds to be processed. While many banks are able to accept the USD currency, we can only issue a direct deposit payout in USD to a US or Canadian bank. You can check your currency settings in the Edit section of your event, to the right of Step 2: Create Tickets.

PRO TIP: You can also offer your attendees eblink{offline payment options=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3389}, like checks, cash at the event, or sending them an invoice for payment. eblink{Fees=>https://www.eventbrite.com/fees} still apply with these options.

NOTE: If it's been more than 60 days past the end date of your event, your payout will need to be manually processed. eblink{Get in touch with our support team=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/contact-us} and we can help you out.

7. Optional: Manage your payout methods.

To manage your payout methods, access your account menu, select “Account Settings” and then “Payout Methods.” From there, you can view and if necessary delete payout methods you’ve set up previously by clicking on the trash icon next to them.

NOTE: You can only delete payout methods that aren't tied to any of your events. If the payout method you want to delete is tied to events, you’ll need to switch them to a different payout method first. To do this, go to the Payment Options page of each event and eblink{change the payout method=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=4369}. You won’t be able to delete the payout method if there are outstanding payouts associated with it.
